Channel 69 Radio Microphones Are Banned

Ofcom will be clearing out the 800Mhz that includes the radio microphone channel 69.  The frequency range has been sold to the mobile phone companies for use as mobile internet.

This recall of channel of 69 rolled out throughout the UK and europe and comes into force from 01 October 2012 after which time any device using this frequency range will become both unusable, and illegal.

This effects all radio microphone users, channel 38 will be the new home to licensed radio microphone users.

Ahead of the closure Gordon AV have overhauled our entire radio microphone stock and replaced them with Sennheiser EW300 G3 radio microphones that are on the new regulation Channel 38 frequency range.
