From an initial team of sixteen, just eight mighty athletes made it through the gruelling training session to take part in the Blenheim Triathlon on Sunday 5 June.
The team's efforts raised around £3,000 for Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research, many thanks to all who sponsored so generously. If you have not yet had chance to sponsor us there is still time please see the Team Torpedo Fundraising page if you wish to make a donation.
All completed the course – the star performer was Andrew Francis, who managed an impressive 377th place out of almost 4000 finishers – a particular highlight being his swim in 11m28, which was the 45th fastest. Of the team of eight, Matt Batterton was undoubtedly the greatest improver, coming in second after Andrew. Congrats though to all eight:
